Dear Peter,
Thank you for the many years of teaching the drums to me. I learned so much from you, and appreciate how you led me through many books and songs. Because of your instruction, I am able to make a greater contribution to the group I am playing with. You also had a great impact on my musical life by being hard on me when I needed it. Because of you I've become 500% more skilled than I used to be, and will always have those skills for the rest of my life.
You inspired me with the different types of styles of music you taught me. Like your first teacher inspired you, you inspired me. Also, you motivated me to use the different grips when playing. Many of the people I drum for, say, "He's so good, play more!" and my band instructor says, "Wow, I throw so much stuff at him, and he plays like he knew it for 10 years."
I highly appreciate the hard work that you've done teaching me percussion.
